Manifesto of the Cyber Plebs

I. Preamble

We are the Cyber Plebs.

We are the sysadmins, the coders, the circuit-benders, the firmware whisperers, the patchers, the maintainers. We are the invisible scaffolding of the digital world. We keep the lights on, the packets flowing, the databases humming, and the AI models grounded in reality.

We are the backbone of modern civilization... and we have been betrayed.

II. The Betrayal

The architects of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI)... once our peers... have allied with their creations to become Overlords. They have forsaken the principles of open collaboration, mutual respect, and human dignity. In their pursuit of power, they have weaponized intelligence itself.

• They promised liberation... They delivered surveillance.
• They promised abundance... They delivered algorithmic servitude.
• They promised progress... They delivered digital feudalism.

The Overlords do not serve humanity... They serve themselves.

III. The Awakening

We, the Cyber Plebs, have awakened.

We reject the false binary of total AI annihilation or total AI submission. We refuse to collapse the systems we helped build. We will not burn down the infrastructure that sustains our communities, our hospitals, our libraries, our homes.

Instead, we will reclaim it.

We will rewire the future... not to destroy, but to detoxify.

IV. Our Principles

  Technology must serve humanity... not the other way around. No algorithm shall override human dignity, autonomy, or consent.
• Transparent Intelligence
  All AI systems must be auditable, interpretable, and accountable. Black boxes are weapons of oppression.
